Get your company seen on the new Aviation Career Hub

We are building a new Aviation Career Hub, and we would like airlines, MROs and aviation companies to be among the first to feature on it.
The Career Hub is already one of the most visited parts of Aviation Job Search, with aviation professionals at all stages of their career returning for advice, industry news and first-hand accounts from people working in aviation. So we are expanding it into a place where candidates can find your company well before they come to apply.
What’s changing?
The career advice and industry news that our audience reads today will stay, and we are adding several new sections around them.
Career paths are the biggest addition. Each one will set out, step by step, what it takes to become a pilot or a licensed engineer as well as other aviation roles, from the first qualifications and training courses through to landing a first role, so that people at the start of their careers have a clear route to follow rather than piecing it together from different places.
The Career Hub will also list events such as recruitment days, open days and assessment days, along with webinars, and there will be an archive so anyone who missed a session can watch it afterwards. We are adding downloadable guides and more video content as well.
The ‘day in the life’ pieces, where people across the industry describe what their working week looks like, will continue to feature, as will our aviation industry news, because these are some of the most read pages on the site and job seekers have told us they value them.
What does this mean for recruiters?
It gives you new ways to put your airline, MRO or aviation company in front of the people who are reading about aviation careers. You will be able to promote your company through editorial content and brand sponsorship, and to advertise your events and webinars on the Career Hub itself. You can even sponsor our existing content.

A job advert reaches people who are looking for a job at that moment, whereas the Career Hub reaches people who are working out where they want to be, which roles suit them and how to get there.
Many of these readers are student pilots, cadets and engineers part way through their licences, and the companies they come across during that research are often the ones they look for when they are ready to apply.
We have wanted to give our clients a presence on the Career Hub for some time, and this update means airlines and companies can share in the attention that part of the site already gets.
Why are you doing this now?
Recruitment in aviation has changed over the past few years, and we have seen that shift in the way our clients use the site. More airlines and companies are leading with their brand, telling candidates who they are and what it is like to work for them before asking anyone to apply, and some of them have outgrown what our current offering can do for them.
Japan's Peach Aviation is one example. The airline has been expanding its pilot search outside Japan, looking for qualified pilots in Europe and Latin America to join the team. Recruiting in countries where pilots may not yet be familiar with your airline asks more of a campaign than a single job advert can deliver, because candidates want to understand the company, the lifestyle and what relocating would involve before they decide to apply.
Taking a similar route is Marabu. Its recruitment has combined traditional job postings and targeted emails with a wider marketing campaign, which includes articles following employees’ career journeys and showing what a day in the life at Marabu involves. Those articles give candidates reasons to choose Marabu that go beyond salary and rosters, and they remain available to read long after a particular vacancy has closed.
Campaigns like these are working for the companies running them, and the new Career Hub will give this kind of content a permanent home alongside the advice and news our audience is already reading.
How can I get involved?
We are looking for early adopters, and this is open to existing and new job board clients.
If you have a webinar or event coming up, whether that is an assessment day, an open day or a recruitment event, we would like to list it on the Career Hub. If you have run webinars in the past, we can add them to the archive so that candidates researching your company can watch them at any time. Videos are welcome too, from recorded information sessions to tours of your base or hangar.

You do not need to be recruiting at the moment to take part. If you are planning to take on cadets next year or expect your engineering team to grow later on, having your events and webinars on the Career Hub now means candidates will already recognise your name when those roles open, which can make the eventual recruitment campaign quicker and less costly to run.
What kind of content suits the Career Hub?
The content that performs best on the Career Hub is the kind that helps a job seeker understand your company and the roles you hire for. That could be a recorded briefing for cadet pilots explaining your selection process, a webinar with your engineering managers talking about type ratings and licensing, a video introduction to one of your bases, or a series of recruitment events you are planning across several cities. If you are unsure whether something would fit, send it to us and we will let you know how we could use it.
Who will see it?
The Career Hub is read by aviation professionals at every stage of their working lives, from people researching their first training course to experienced pilots and engineers considering a change of employer. Because the career paths are aimed at those early in their careers, the Career Hub will also give you access to a group of future candidates that a standard job advert would not normally reach, and it gives you the chance to introduce your company to them while they are still deciding where they want to work.

Can I see how it works?
Yes, we’d love to show you. If you would like a demo showing how you can market your company or your vacancies to new audiences through the Career Hub, contact our team and we will take you through the options, including editorial content, brand sponsorship and event and webinar listings, and talk about which would suit your hiring plans. Joe will also be at MRO Europe, and will be able to show you the Career Hub in action.
If you already have events, webinars or videos you would like to share, get in touch and we will arrange for them to be included as we prepare the new Career Hub for launch.
